Beckbury Technology worked with Thomson Financial to develop the Thomson ONE Equity
Web financial product. This premium development incorporated the latest Internet
technologies to bring stock market data, news and reports instantly to users through
the use of their Web browser. These were updated in near real-time, without the
user needing to refresh their browser!
The product included a Windows-style user interface so they could arrange and customise
their screen and drag in reports, charts and data streams. This technology was truly
ground-breaking and was being used two years before Microsoft and Google started
using it on their new sites!
Beckbury Technology has been working for Reuters for over 3 years on its award-winning
Customer Zone
support portal. It has developed a series of new features and enhancements to provide
customers with dynamic and timely information.
These include the Knowledge Centre, which integrates with existing internal systems
and enables FAQs and product and market data knowledge to be displayed to customers.
Beckbury Technology also developed the Reuters Notification Service, a comprehensive
subscription service that informs Customers of changes to Reuters Products and Reuters
Data.
